Beck and Cage the Elephant Plan Joint Summer 2019 Tour
Beck and Cage The Elephant have announced an all new co-headlining tour that will see the rockers hit stages coast-to-coast this summer!
The 30-date “The Night Running Tour” kicks off July 11 in Ridgefield, WA before setting out to hit cities including Austin, Birmingham, and Cincinnati. A final show at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, FL will wrap things up on August 30.
Rock group Spoon will be joining in on all the excitement as a special guest for the entirety of the tour, with supporting acts Starcrawler, Sunflower Bean, and Wild Belle opening on select dates.
News of the tour comes after an exciting night for Beck, who just picked up two Grammy Awards for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical last night at the 61st Grammy Awards.
The announcement also follows yet another exciting announcement from Cage the Elephant, who earlier this week shared that their new album Social Cues is due for release on April 19. The upcoming album will feature Beck as a guest on the song “Night Running.”

Who Is Beck?
Beck first stepped onto the scene in the early 1990s, creating musical collages that combined a wide range of genres. The artist shot to the top of the charts with the release of his breakthrough single “Loser” in 1994, followed by his third album, Mellow Gold, later that same year. Mellow Gold would go on to earn a platinum certification, launching Beck to commercial success. He has since released 10 additional studio albums, maintaining his presence on the charts and earning several awards over the course of his career. The four-time platinum artist is known for his distinct pop-art collage of musical styles, incorporating elements of folk, funk, soul, electronic, rock, country and more to create a sound that is uniquely all his own. His style has been hailed by critics across the globe, with many citing him as one of the most creative musicians of the 1990s and 2000s.
Who Is Cage The Elephant?
Rock outfit Cage the Elephant emerged from Bowling Green, Kentucky in 2006, relocating to London shortly before the release of their debut album just two years later. The group made their mainstream breakthrough with the release of the self-titled debut album in 2008, spawning several hit singles including “In One Ear,” “Ain’t No Rest For The Wicked,” and “Back Against the Wall.” The album’s success earned them significant radio airtime, vastly expanding their fanbase and laying the foundation for a long and successful career. Cage the Elephant has since released four additional studio albums, picking up Grammy Awards for two of them including Best Alternative Music Album for Melophobia (2013), and Best Rock Album for Tell Me I’m Pretty (2015). The group has continued to maintain their presence at the top of the charts since making their breakthrough debut a short decade ago.
